Serge Aurier Hails David Luiz’s Impact at PSG
New Paris Saint-Germain signing Serge Aurier has praised his teammate David Luiz for his influence both on and off the pitch since joining the capital club this summer.
Speaking to Foot Mercato, the Ivorian international described Luiz as a cheerful presence who has quickly integrated into the squad. “He’s always laughing and approaches everyone in a good mood. He immediately took an important place in the group thanks to his good humor. He puts everyone at ease,” Aurier said.
On the field, Aurier added that Luiz’s performances have impressed the entire squad during training sessions. He is confident that once Luiz is fully settled, the Brazilian defender will form a formidable partnership with compatriot Thiago Silva. “When he’s definitely found his feet, he’ll carry PSG alongside Thiago Silva. They’ve already played together, know each other inside out, and understand each other’s strengths and weaknesses. That’s very important. David is going to be a very important player for us,” Aurier added.
