Senou Coulibaly attracts Rodina Moscow interest after Omonia title-winning season
Senou Coulibaly, the Mali and France-nationality centre-back at Omonia Nicosia, is linked with a move to Rodina Moscow in Russia’s Premier Liga.
The 31-year-old joined Omonia from Dijon in July 2023 and has a contract with the Cypriot club until 31 May 2028. Any potential move would therefore involve a transfer rather than a free transfer.
Coulibaly has featured in four European qualifying matches for Omonia at the start of the 2026-27 campaign, making two appearances in the Champions League qualifying rounds and two in Europa League qualifying. He has started both of the club’s Champions League qualifying games, playing 96% of the available minutes in that competition.
The 1.93m defender was part of the Omonia squad that won the Cypriot championship in 2025-26, his first recorded major honour with the club. He began his senior career in France before joining Dijon in 2018, where he spent five seasons prior to his move to Cyprus.
Rodina Moscow’s reported interest comes with Coulibaly established at Omonia and under contract for almost two more seasons. No transfer fee or probability has been attached to the rumour, and there has been no confirmation that an agreement has been reached.
