Senegalese coach Youssoupha Dabo has reportedly joined the technical staff of the Libyan national team, working under compatriot Aliou Cissé.
Dabo mutually parted ways with Congolese outfit AS Vita Club after just six months in charge of the team.
The 45-year-old trainer, who arrived in Kinshasa back in October 2024 with a strong ambitions has sever ties with the club as he seeks for opportunities elsewhere.
Having joined the Libya national team, he is expected to provide the necessary support to Cissé to thrive.
Dabo is also enrolled in a CAF A License training program, making regular involvement with Vita’s squad increasingly difficult.
The former Azam FC coach is said to have requested an early exit, which was approved by club president Bestine Kazadi. The management reportedly commended Dabo’s professionalism and wished him success in his future endeavors.
Until a new head coach is appointed, Bruno Ferry, Dabo’s assistant, will take over as interim coach.
