Senegalese forward Matar Dieye is on the verge of joining Egyptian giants Zamalek in the upcoming summer transfer window following his departure from Moroccan club MAS Fez.
Contract Termination Paves Way for Move
The former Bellinzona forward had joined MAS Fez from the Swiss second-division side during the last summer window.
However, his stint in Morocco was short-lived, and he is now poised for a fresh challenge in the Egyptian league.
Experienced Forward with European Pedigree
Dieye has gained experience across multiple leagues in Europe. He previously played in Croatia’s top flight for HNK Gorica, where he scored seven goals, and also had a spell in the Ukrainian Premier League with Olimpik Donetsk, netting eight times.
Zamalek, keen to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new season, sees Dieye as a valuable addition to their squad.
The transfer is expected to be finalized in the coming weeks.
