Former Ferus de Foot Academy striker Cheikh Mbacké Sall has signed a three-year contract with Granada CF, with the Spanish club confirming that the Senegalese forward will spend the remainder of the season on loan at CF Motril.
The 19-year-old continues his progression in Spanish football after securing the move to Granada, who have opted to send him out on loan to Motril, a side competing in the Tercera RFEF, the fifth tier of the Spanish league system.
The arrangement is designed to provide the young striker with regular playing time as he adapts further to the demands of football in Europe.
Cheikh Mbacké Sall was developed at the Ferus Football Academy in Senegal before leaving the country in 2024 to pursue opportunities abroad.
His first experience in Spain came with Gran Peña FC, where he began to attract attention with a series of promising displays. He later joined CF Rayo Majadahonda, continuing his development and gaining valuable competitive experience.
Across the previous season and the early part of the current campaign, Sall has scored 15 goals in all competitions, spanning youth football and appearances in the Tercera RFEF.
Those performances proved decisive in drawing the interest of Granada CF, who moved to secure his signature on a long-term deal.
Granada’s decision to loan the striker to Motril reflects a clear development strategy. At 1.92 metres tall, Sall is a centre-forward known for his physical presence, pace and efficiency in front of goal.
The loan spell is expected to allow him to build consistency, gain experience against senior opposition and continue refining his game in a competitive environment.
For Motril, the arrival of the Senegalese forward offers an additional attacking option as the club looks to strengthen its squad for the remainder of the season.
For Granada, the move provides an opportunity to monitor Sall’s progress closely while he accumulates minutes at senior level.
The loan is viewed as an important step in the player’s pathway, with the long-term objective of integrating him into Granada’s plans once he has gained sufficient experience.
As he settles into his new surroundings, Sall will be aiming to make an immediate impact with Motril and lay the foundations for the next phase of his career in Spanish football.
