Senegalese defender Mouhamed Lamine Ndiaye joins Le Havre on three-year deal

Senegalese defender Mouhamed Lamine Ndiaye has completed a move to French Ligue 1 side Le Havre AC, signing a three-season contract that will keep him at the club until 2029.

The 21-year-old has joined Le Havre after spending several weeks with the club on trial, impressing the technical staff sufficiently to earn a permanent contract.

Ndiaye will now continue his development in France as he looks to establish himself at the highest level of French football.

The young centre-back began his footballing journey at Guédiawaye FC in Senegal before making the move to Europe in 2023. He joined AS Saint-Étienne, where he continued his development, before moving to Portugal in 2025 to sign for Alverca.

His transfer to Le Havre represents another important step in his young career and gives him the opportunity to compete in one of Europe’s top domestic leagues.

Known for his defensive qualities and potential, Ndiaye will now be looking to adapt quickly to his new surroundings and earn regular playing time with the French club.
