Senegalese defender Abdou Aziz Diaw joins Tadamon Sour from AJEL Rufisque

Senegalese centre-back Abdou Aziz Diaw has joined Lebanon’s Tadamon Sour from AJEL Rufisque, completing a move to the Lebanese Premier League club.

The 23-year-old’s transfer was registered on 18 September 2026. Diaw moves after one season with AJEL Rufisque, having joined the Senegalese club from ASC Jaraaf on a free transfer in August 2025.

Diaw is a right-footed central defender who stands 1.85m tall. His senior record includes 25 Ligue 1 appearances, with one goal and one assist. He has also featured in the Ligue I Pro Playout, Ligue I Pro Playoff, CAF Confederation Cup and Tunisian Cup.

The defender was part of the ASC Jaraaf side that won the Senegalese championship in the 2024-25 season. That title came during his spell with the Dakar-based club, before his move to AJEL Rufisque.

Diaw began his senior career in Senegal with AF Darou Salam, joining Port Autonome in July 2018. He later moved to Pikine in December 2019 and then switched to Guediawaye FC in July 2020. His first move outside Senegal came in September 2022, when he joined Tunisia’s US Tataouine.

After leaving US Tataouine, Diaw returned to Senegal with ASC Jaraaf in July 2024. He spent the following campaign with the club before moving to AJEL Rufisque, where he played in Senegal’s Ligue 1.

His arrival gives Tadamon Sour a defender with experience in Senegalese, Tunisian and continental competition. The move also represents the next stage of Diaw’s career after progressing through clubs in Senegal and spending time in Tunisia.

Diaw has now completed his move from AJEL Rufisque and joined Tadamon Sour in Lebanon.
