Senegalese coach Youssoupha Dabo is set to part ways with Congolese outfit AS Vita Club after just months in charge of the team.
Dabo, who arrived in Kinshasa back in October 2024 is now entering his final hours at the helm of the Congolese giants.
The highly-profiled coach is leaving the club on mutual consent after just six months in charge of the club as he seeks for opportunities elsewhere.
According to reports, Dabo has joined the technical staff of the Libyan national team, working under Aliou Cissé, his compatriot and former Senegal head coach.
Dabo is also enrolled in a CAF A License training program, making regular involvement with Vita’s squad increasingly difficult.
The former Azam FC coach is said to have requested an early exit, which was approved by club president Bestine Kazadi. The management reportedly commended Dabo’s professionalism and wished him success in his future endeavors.
Until a new head coach is appointed, Bruno Ferry, Dabo’s assistant, will take over as interim coach.
