The head coach of the Black Queens of Ghana, Kim Lars Björkegren, has set his sights on victory for his side in the international friendly match against the Teranga Lionesses of Senegal on Saturday, April 5.
The national teams of the two countries will lock horns tomorrow as part of preparations for the 2025 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
Speaking in a pre-match interview, coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren admitted that the upcoming encounter will be difficult but expressed optimism in his team’s potential to emerge victorious.
“The game against Senegal tomorrow. I think it’s going to be a tough one. They play physically. It’s going to be a good game for us. We need to move the ball fast, but if we do that, I’m sure we have the potential to win the game,” Coach Kim Lars Björkegren told the Ghana FA media team in an interview.
The international friendly match against Senegal is part of Ghana’s preparations for the 2025 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament to be held in Morocco later this year.
