Senegal’s U20 national team has begun its preparations for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (CAN U20), with 23 players called up for a residential training camp.
The young Lions will gather at the Youssoupha Ndiaye Centre of Excellence in Guéréo from March 11 to 13 as they fine-tune their squad ahead of the tournament in Côte d’Ivoire.
A crucial stage in Senegal’s U20 campaign
With the U20 Africa Cup of Nations scheduled to take place from April 26 to May 18, the Senegalese Football Federation has intensified efforts to ensure the team is in peak condition.
The training camp will provide an opportunity for head coach Malick Daf and his technical staff to assess players, fine-tune tactics, and build team chemistry ahead of the competition.
