In preparation for the friendly match against Niger, Senegal’s national football team, managed by interim head coach Mayacine Mar, has called up three new players to compensate for the absences of Demba Ba, Issiar Dia, and Idrissa Gana Guèye.
The three players called up are:
- Ibrahima Ba from Istres (French Ligue 2).
- Malick Mané from Sogndal, Norway.
- Pape Alioune Diouf from Kalmar, Sweden.
Demba Ba and Idrissa Gana Guèye are among the players who are unavailable for the friendly match, having played championship matches with their clubs last weekend. The Lions of Teranga have regrouped in Paris and will travel directly to Niamey in Niger for the upcoming match.
It’s noted that Mayacine Mar is serving as interim head coach following the dismissal of Joseph Koto from the position of head coach of the Senegalese national football team.
