While the official start of the Senegalese football season (Ligue 1, Ligue 2, and National) is set for November 29, action on the pitch gets underway early with the return of the Parliament Tournament this Friday. The annual pre-season event brings together top-performing clubs from the previous campaign for a showcase of local football talent.

AS Pikine – Senegalese league and cup double winners; will represent Senegal in the CAF Champions League.
Olympique de Ngor – Cup runners-up; will participate in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Guédiawaye FC (GFC) – League Cup winners.
ASFA (Armed Forces Sports Association) – National 1 champions, newly promoted to Ligue 2 after 35 years in the lower divisions.
