Senegal midfielder Lamine Camara could stay at Monaco despite growing interest

Senegal international Lamine Camara could remain at AS Monaco for a third consecutive season despite growing interest from several Premier League clubs.

Camara has emerged as one of the most sought-after midfielder in the current summer transfer window, with Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Crystal Palace said to be monitoring the midfielder.

According to reports, Monaco are increasingly confident of retaining the 22-year-old for another season, despite considerable attention from England.

Monaco remain determined to keep hold of Camara, having already rejected €35 million offer for the Senegalese midfielder.

The French club’s position appears to have strengthened further because the player himself is not pushing for a departure.
