SENEGAL: LIONEL MESSI AIMS TO WIN THE WORLD CUP

It seems that Lionel Messi has expressed his ambitions for the 2014 World Cup during his visit to Senegal. The Argentine football star stated that winning the World Cup is his dream, and he is actively working towards achieving that goal. Messi acknowledged the challenges on the road to the World Cup but emphasized the importance of continuous hard work.

The visit to Senegal also had a philanthropic aspect, with Messi distributing mosquito nets on behalf of the “Leo Messi Foundation.” This highlights his commitment to charitable endeavors beyond football.

The press conference in Saly-Portudal was attended by notable figures, including the Minister of Tourism and Leisure Youssou Ndour and the Supervisor of the Aspire Academy Board, Sheikh Bin Ahmad Al Thani.

Messi also touched upon the challenges faced by FC Barcelona each season, particularly the competition with top teams like Real Madrid. He mentioned the difficulty of playing against strong opponents and acknowledged Real Madrid’s status as a big club with exceptional players, as well as their new coach, Ancelotti.

Overall, Messi’s statements reflect his determination to succeed in the upcoming World Cup and his awareness of the challenges both on and off the field.
