Senegalese goalkeeper Boubacar Fall has joined Guediawaye FC from ASC Jaraaf on a free transfer, completing a move within Senegal’s Ligue 1.

The 25-year-old has signed a contract with Guediawaye FC running until 30 June 2028. Fall’s move was completed on 9 August 2026, bringing an end to his time with ASC Jaraaf and placing him under contract with another club in the country’s top division.

Fall arrives as a specialist goalkeeper and adds considerable physical presence to Guediawaye FC’s squad. Standing at 1.98m, he is also left-footed, details that distinguish him among the club’s options in his position.

Born in Thiaroye-sur-Mer on 3 February 2001, Fall has spent the latest stage of his career in Senegal’s Ligue 1. His transfer from ASC Jaraaf means he remains in the same competition while taking on a new club role in Guediawaye.

The move is also an agreement between two Senegalese clubs, with Fall continuing his career in the domestic game rather than moving abroad. Guediawaye FC have secured his services without a transfer fee, while the length of his contract gives the club control of his future through the end of June 2028.

Fall’s arrival provides Guediawaye FC with an experienced senior goalkeeper at the age of 25 and gives the club a player capable of competing for a role between the posts. His height and preferred left foot offer clear physical and technical characteristics in the position, although no further playing statistics are attached to the transfer.

ASC Jaraaf and Guediawaye FC both compete in Ligue 1, making the move a direct domestic switch for Fall. The transfer was recorded on 9 August, with the goalkeeper now registered as a Guediawaye FC player.

Boubacar Fall has therefore left ASC Jaraaf as a free agent and signed for Guediawaye FC on a contract that expires on 30 June 2028.
