Senegal booked their place in the **group stage of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers** with a convincing **3-0 victory over Madagascar** on Tuesday at the Léopold Sédar Senghor Stadium in Dakar, in the second leg of the second round.
Captain **Cheikhou Kouyaté** opened the scoring in the 19th minute. The Lions of Teranga sealed the victory in the second half with goals from **Moussa Konaté (53rd)** and **Mame Biram Diouf (82nd)**.
