Senegal international Nicolas Jackson has sounded a word of caution to the Premier League clubs to be wary of Chelsea following victory over Leicester City.

Jackson was on target when the Blues secured a 2-1 at the King Power Stadium over the Foxes on Saturday.

Chelsea are currently third on the Premier League standings, accumulating 22 points after 12 matches into the campaign, with Jackson stressing there is more to come from his outfit

“It was a good performance, we are happy to get the three points. It’s just the beginning, the season has just started. The aim is to win every game, try to fight for the team, score and get three points in every game.” he told Chelsea website.

“I saw that the defender anticipated my move, so I needed to be quick and I know that the goalkeeper is good, that’s why I tried to finish the game as quickly as possible,” Jackson said of his goal. “I’m happy here, happy with my friends and my teammates. I try to help the team in every game.”

“We know that they know that we have a lot of quality at the back and up front, so we expected this (to be in the back), it was good and the most important thing is that we won the game and now we focus on the next game”

Jackson then highlighted manager Enzo Maresca’s impact in his outfit crucial away win.

“We listened to what the coach said, followed the instructions and won the game. He helps us to be in the game as always.”
