While the official list of players for the friendly match against Zambia on August 14 is yet to be disclosed until Thursday, it has been revealed that Papy Djilobodji (25 years old) and Issa Cissokho (28 years old) have received invitations from coach Alain Giresse. FC Nantes, the club of both players, announced their call-up to the Senegalese national team.
This marks the first time the two Canary Islands defenders will be joining the Teranga Lions, providing them with the opportunity to showcase their skills during the upcoming friendly match. Notably, Issa Cissokho is the brother of Aly Cissokho, a defender for FC Valencia in Spain and a player for the French national team.
