Senghor presented his candidacy under the seal of humility and wisdom, expressing the intention to roll out the second phase of his program for the first term. He aims to strengthen the financing of Senegalese football, raising the annual budget to 3.5 billion FCFA for the benefit of clubs and football. Senghor also expressed the desire to win a continental trophy if re-elected for the next four years.
