Senah Mango Signs with Boulogne-sur-Mer After Months Without a Club
Togolese international Senah Mango has finally found a new club. After several months without a contract, the former Marseille defender has signed with US Boulogne Côte d’Opale, currently 8th in the French third division (National). The club confirmed the news on its official website.
Though the length of the contract was not disclosed, Mango expressed his relief and excitement about returning to the field:
“USBCO is a good club that had its glory days with its move to Ligue 1. I appreciated the coach and sporting director’s vision for the project. I’ve already played several times at Libé with Uzès and Luzenac. It will be a pleasure to play there again.”
Trained at Olympique de Marseille, Mango struggled to break into the first team and was loaned out to various clubs, including Monaco. He later signed with Luzenac, but had to leave following the club’s administrative relegation in 2014. Mango spent the following season training with Dijon, but did not sign a contract.
Now with Boulogne, Mango becomes the club’s third signing, following the arrivals of Rémi Bonenfant and Teddy Teuma, as the team aims to climb the ranks in National.
