The Nigeria international has played a significant role in the Tigers’ positive opening to the campaign and has also scored his first goal since returning to England’s top flight.
Ajayi discussed Hull City’s early results in an interview with Footy-Africa, highlighting the importance of the team’s collective work. However, the 32-year-old acknowledged that maintaining consistency will be crucial as the season develops.

Their latest fixture ended in a dramatic 2-2 draw with Everton, and the Tigers will now prepare for their next league match against Fulham.
Ajayi is valued at one million euros by Transfermarkt and is under contract with Hull City until 30 June 2027. The agreement also includes an option for a further year.
He has made six appearances so far this season, starting every match. His performances have made him an important part of Hull City’s efforts as they seek to establish themselves in the Premier League.
Hull City will soon play their seventh league game of the season against Fulham FC. The published match odds list Hull City at 4.93 to win, a draw at 4.05 and Fulham at 1.77.
