Selim Amallah is set to leave Royal Excel Mouscron for Standard Liège at the end of the season, the Liège club confirmed on Monday. The details of his new contract have not yet been disclosed.

“Standard Liège, Royal Excel Mouscron and Selim Amallah have reached an agreement: the Belgian midfielder will join our club at the end of this season. Standard Liège welcomes Selim Amallah and wishes him all the best in our colors,” the club announced.

The 22-year-old Belgian-Moroccan midfielder joined Mouscron in 2017 from Tubize and has steadily established himself as a key player over the past two seasons. This campaign, Amallah has made 23 appearances for the Hurlus, contributing five goals and four assists, demonstrating his growing influence in the team.

Amallah’s move to Standard Liège represents a step up in his career, offering him the chance to compete at a higher level and continue his development in one of Belgium’s top clubs.
