Hervé Renard has refuted recent rumors suggesting that he will become the next coach of the Moroccan national team. Despite reports circulating on Thursday about his future with the Atlas Lions, the current coach of Sochaux in the French Ligue 1 clarified that his immediate focus remains on his club’s campaign to stay in the top-flight championship.
Renard emphasized that he has no official comment to offer on the matter. He pointed out the absence of a president for the Moroccan Federation at present and highlighted his commitment to Sochaux. Renard indicated that while he had engaged with an agent in June 2013, his primary focus is on the current objectives of his club.
While Renard did not completely rule out the possibility of coaching in Morocco in the future, he stressed that such a move is not on the horizon at the moment.
