The Ghana Football Federation (GFA) has appointed Selas Tetteh as the head coach of the national U20 team. This decision comes after a meeting of the GFA Executive Committee. Selas Tetteh, who previously managed the team and led it to the U20 World Cup title in 2009, will replace Maxwell Konadu, who now serves as an assistant to Kwesi Appiah with the senior team. Tetteh has been in the role of technical director with the Glo Premier League club Liberty Professionals since his departure from Rwanda in September 2011. Ghana is qualified for the 2013 U20 Africa Cup of Nations, being drawn in Group A alongside Algeria, Benin, and Egypt, with the competition scheduled from March 6 to 30 next year.
