Guinea winger Sekou Damaro Bangoura has left Algerian side MC Oran and is now a free agent after reaching the end of his spell with the Ligue 1 club.

The 20-year-old left-sided attacker, who was born in Conakry and prefers to operate from the left wing on his right foot, departs Oran with his current market value standing at around 125,000. His move away from the club is registered in the 202627 season, with his status now officially listed as without a club.

Bangoura joined MC Oran from Guinean champions Hafia FC in January 2026 for a 220,000 fee, stepping into North African football midway through the campaign. His switch from domestic football in Guinea to Algeria marked a significant step up, exposing him to a higher level of competition.

During his time in Oran, Bangoura featured in both league and continental action. He made seven appearances in the Algerian Ligue 1, accumulating 370 minutes, and added further impact in the CAF Confederation Cup, where he scored once in a single appearance, finding the net in a full 90-minute outing.

Having turned 20 in March, Bangoura is still in the early stages of his professional career, with experience now spanning both Guinean and Algerian top-flight football as well as continental competition.

The conclusion of his stint at MC Oran means the Guinea winger is now unattached and available to sign for a new club.
