Seifeddine Jaziri makes peace with Zamalek coach Yannick Ferreira and returns to training

Seifeddine Jaziri has taken a step toward mending his relationship with Zamalek after tensions with the club’s coach.

The Tunisian striker offered an apology to technical head Yannick Ferreira following a recent dispute that had put his future in doubt.

The conflict began when Jaziri openly objected to Ferreira’s decision to deploy him on the right wing. His refusal to follow instructions caused friction with the coaching staff and led to disciplinary action from the club. After days of reflection, Jaziri admitted his mistake and sought forgiveness from both Ferreira and management.

Ferreira responded by holding a meeting with the striker, joined by football director Abdel Nasser Mohamed. Jaziri assured the coach of his willingness to respect the penalty handed to him and pledged to commit fully to the team moving forward.

With this reconciliation, Ferreira has granted Jaziri one last opportunity and reinstated him in group training. Zamalek will now focus on their crucial Egyptian Premier League clash against leaders Al-Masry SC at Borg El Arab Stadium on Saturday.
