Zimbabwean outfit Scottland FC have confirm the signing of attacking midfielder Knowledge Musona in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The legendary midfielder joins Scottland FC as a free agent following his departure from Saudi Pro League side Al-Okhdood at the expiration of his contract.
“Warriors legend, Knowledge Musona will end his playing career at Scottland FC after signing a deal with us. Scottland FC becomes Musona’s first professional club on the domestic scene” wrote the club.
Musona helped the Saudi outfit avoid relegation last term, but ultimately failed to convince the management to offer him a new contract, leading to his departure from the club.
Last season, despite his considerable age, Musona featured in 30 matches, scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists.
With his wealth of experience in African football, Musona is expected to contribute immensely to help the club achieve greater objectives upcoming football campaign.
As he marks a sensational return to his native country, the 35-year-old will be hoping to make a strong impact before calling a quit.
Musona has featured for a hosts of clubs across the globe including, Augsburg, Hoffenheim, KAS Eupen, Anderlecht, Kaizer Chiefs and others.
Since marking his debut for Zimbabwe in 2010, the veteran midfielder has racked up 24 goals in 51 appearances.
