Scottish outfit Aberdeen are keen on securing the services of Franco-Malian attacker Moussa Soumano in the ongoing summer transfer window.
Having finished fifth in last season’s Scottish Premiership, the club intend to bolster their squad for the upcoming 2025/26 football in an attempt to make impact next season.
According to reports, the Dons has submitted an initial bid worth €500,000 to sign the 19-year-old striker from Ajaccio.
Soumano began his youth career at Red Star before switching to the French outfit in 2021. Since joining the club, Soumano has made 66 appearances and scored five goals.
The 2024-5 campaign was his most successful to date, with four goals and two assists in 27 appearances.
Ajaccio have been provisionally relegated to the third-tier league over financial issue despite finishing fifth in the Ligue 2 last season. As the club await an official takeover, any permanent deal would be an important influx of funds. The club spent much of last season in the midst of a financial crisis.
