SC Ben Arous strengthen goalkeeping options with Tunisia’s Oussema Boufalgha

Oussema Boufalgha, the 28-year-old Tunisia goalkeeper, has joined SC Ben Arous from ES Rades on a free transfer, completing his move on 28 August 2026.

The 1.91m goalkeeper becomes the latest addition to the Sporting Club of Ben Arous squad after leaving ES Rades, where he had spent the most recent stage of his career. Boufalgha arrived at ES Rades on 22 January 2025 from Rogba Tataouine, also on a free transfer.

His spell with Rogba Tataouine followed a short period at EGS Gafsa. Boufalgha joined EGS Gafsa from AS Marsa on 1 August 2024, before moving to Rogba Tataouine later that year on 19 September.

The goalkeeper’s move to AS Marsa came in September 2022, when he left Jendouba Sport. He had previously joined Jendouba Sport from US Ben Guerdane in September 2021, continuing a series of moves between Tunisian clubs.

Boufalgha began his senior club career with US Ben Guerdane after progressing from the club’s under-21 side. His transfer history has since taken him through Jendouba Sport, AS Marsa, EGS Gafsa, Rogba Tataouine and ES Rades before his latest switch to SC Ben Arous.

The move keeps the Tunisian goalkeeper within the domestic game and adds further experience to his new club’s goalkeeping group. Boufalgha has now changed clubs on a free transfer at each recorded move since leaving US Ben Guerdane’s youth setup.

SC Ben Arous have completed the signing of Oussema Boufalgha from ES Rades as a free agent.
