Sayed Moawad unveils behind-the-scenes of his dispute with Mohamed Barakat

Former Al Ahly and Egyptian national team star, Sayed Moawad, has shed light on the details of his dispute with Mohamed Barakat, a member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Football Association.

Moawad revealed in televised statements on MBC Egypt, “My disagreement with Mohamed Barakat is not due to my non-appointment to any of the national teams,” emphasizing, “All the rumors in this regard are untrue.”

He clarified, “There is no story of discord between me and Barakat. I was asked a question on one of the TV programs (Barakat, your friend now).

I said no.”

Moawad concluded his remarks, stating, “Barakat used to be my friend before, but not anymore.”
