Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad has reportedly revived efforts to sign Egypt forward Mohamed Salah from Liverpool this summer.
According to French outlet Foot Mercato, Salah’s agent is in discussions with Al-Ittihad officials, suggesting the 33-year-old is increasingly open to a move to Saudi Arabia.
The report adds that the final decision ultimately rests with Salah, who has previously voiced frustration at Liverpool, particularly over being left on the bench in several matches last December.
Selling Salah could also provide Liverpool with a significant financial boost, with the player’s current contract running until 2027.
Al-Ittihad is looking to restructure its squad after losing Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kanté in the winter transfer window, while Fabinho’s contract is set to expire next summer.
Salah has featured in 25 games across all competitions this season, netting six goals.
