Al Ahly stars Mahmoud Kahraba, Percy Tau, and Aliou Dieng have received offers from Saudi Pro League clubs during the ongoing summer transfer window.
Several Saudi Pro League clubs have expressed strong interest in acquiring Kahraba, Tau, and Dieng, amidst the trio’s unsettled situation with the Cairo-based club under Koller’s management.
Kahraba, in particular, is on the verge of leaving Al Ahly due to significant disagreements with Koller.
The conflict stems from Kahraba’s insistence on being a starter, especially during the period when Palestinian player Wissam Abu Ali was sidelined due to injury.
The rift has left Kahraba’s future with the club hanging by a thread.
South African forward Percy Tau also finds himself nearing the exit door at Al Ahly.
His frequent disputes with Koller and his dissatisfaction with the manager’s tactical decisions have led to several altercations.
Consequently, Tau has been left out of Koller’s plans, further straining their professional relationship.
Similarly, Malian midfielder Aliou Dieng is likely to depart from Al Ahly after being excluded from the starting lineup this season.
Dieng’s prolonged absence due to injury, combined with Koller’s preference for Marwan Atia, Akram Tawfik, and Emam Ashour in midfield, has seen the once-favored player fall out of favor.
This is despite Dieng’s previous impressive performances under former Al Ahly managers.
