Ismaila Sarr could be at the centre of renewed transfer interest during the winter window, with several Saudi Arabian clubs monitoring the Crystal Palace winger, according to Ekrem Konur.
The clubs are understood to be considering whether to make an offer for the Senegal international in the coming weeks. Sarr’s performances and attacking qualities have continued to attract attention overseas, particularly in Saudi Arabia, where a number of sides are looking to strengthen their forward options.
Sarr, 28, remains under contract at Crystal Palace until June 2029. However, the Premier League club are not currently keen to sanction his departure unless they can first secure a suitable replacement.
Crystal Palace want to identify a player capable of filling Sarr’s role before seriously considering any approach. That stance means any potential transfer will depend not only on the size of an offer from Saudi Arabia but also on whether the club can find adequate cover in attack.
According to Transfermarkt, Sarr’s current market value is estimated at 45 million euros. It remains to be seen whether the reported interest develops into a formal proposal and whether Crystal Palace would be willing to enter negotiations.
Sarr earns 4 348 684 euros per year, equivalent to 2 826 644 600 FCFA.
Crystal Palace are due to play Nottingham Forest in their sixth match of the English championship. The listed odds for the fixture are 2.55 for a Crystal Palace win, 3.10 for a draw and 2.45 for a Nottingham Forest victory.
