Saudi Pro League outfit, Al-Najma, have submitted an official offer for the acquisition of Zamalek midfielder Nabil Emad Dunga.
Al-Najma are seeking to strengthen their squad for the remainder of the 2025/2026 football campaign, with the Egyptian international emerging as a priority target for the club.
Africasoccer.com has learnt Zamalek received an offer worth $800,000 from Al-Najma to sign Nabil Emad Dunga before the closure of the window.
But Zamalek remain keen to keep the enterprising defensive midfielder and renew his contract, while Dunga has expressed a desire to pursue a professional career abroad.
Zamalek is currently suffering from a crisis in contracts due to the suspension of registration by the International Federation of Football Associations, for failing to pay dues to some former clubs and player
The 29-year-old midfielder has made 13 appearances across competitions for Zamalek this season, registering an assist in the process. Dunga, who joined Zamalek in 2022 will see his current contract expire in summer 2027.
At the international level, Dunga has made eleven appearances for the Pharaohs of Egypt, since making his debut in 2019.
