Saudi Arabia face UAE in Gulf Cup 27 final: kick-off time, TV channels and expected line-ups

Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates will meet in the final of the Arabian Gulf Cup “Gulf 27” at Al Inma Stadium on Tuesday, 6 October 2026.

The match will begin at 21:00 Saudi Arabia time and 22:00 in the UAE, with both sides having topped their respective groups.

Saudi Arabia won all three of their group matches to finish first with nine points. The UAE also reached the semi-finals as group winners, collecting seven points and finishing above runners-up Qatar on goal difference.

Saudi Arabia needed a penalty shootout to overcome Qatar in the last four. The UAE secured their place in the final with a 1-0 victory over Oman.

TV channels and online coverage

Several broadcasters hold the rights to show matches from the Arabian Gulf Cup “Gulf 27”. They include Saudi Sports, Sharjah Sports and Abu Dhabi Sports.

Viewers wishing to watch the final online can follow the match through the Shahid app, MBC Shahid and Shoof.

Expected line-ups

Saudi Arabia are expected to start with Mohammed Al Owais in goal.

The projected defence is Mohamed Marzouki, Abdulelah Al-Amri, Jihad Dhikrallah and Moteb Al-Harbi. Mohammed Kanno, Saleh Abu Al-Shamat and Nasser Al-Dawsari are expected to form the midfield, with Sultan Mandash, H. Al-Hamami and Firas Al-Buraikan leading the attack.

The UAE’s expected goalkeeper is Khalid Eisa.

Ruben Felipe, Lucas Pimenta, Alaa Al-Din Zuhair and Marcos Meloni are set to make up the defence. The midfield could feature Mamadou Coulibaly, Issam Fayez and Loran Pereira, while Nicolas Gimenez, Da Silva and Ousmane Camara are expected to play in attack.

The final brings together two teams that finished top of their groups before progressing through contrasting semi-final ties. Saudi Arabia’s route was decided by penalties after their meeting with Qatar, while the UAE advanced with a narrow win over Oman.

The match will be played at Al Inma Stadium, with the scheduled kick-off at 21:00 in Saudi Arabia and 22:00 in the UAE.
