Samuel Mbangula nets first German Bundesliga goal for Werder Bremen in big win against Mönchengladbach
Belgian forward of Congolese descent Samuel Mbangula was on target for Werder Bremen on Sunday, helping the team to thrash Borussia Mönchengladbach 4-0 in the German Bundesliga.
Speaking about his first goal in the German Bundesliga, Mbangula described it as fantastic.
“My first goal in the Bundesliga. It feels fantastic,” Mbangula said after the match.
Werder Bremen head coach Horst Steffen was full of praise for the attacker, indicating that Mbangula is getting better day by day.
“Samuel was very good and is getting better every week. I get that impression from him in training, too. He needs the basic feeling that there’s a good atmosphere. Now he’s getting a relaxed attitude,” the coach said.
After getting his first goal in the German Bundesliga, Samuel Mbangula will now feel a lot of confidence in the upcoming matches.
Werder Bremen will be counting on him to score more goals to help the team win as many matches as possible.
