Olympique Lyonnais has expressed interest in Samuel Inkoom, as reported by Sky Sports a few days ago. The Ghanaian right-back, who is currently owned by Dnipro in Ukraine and on loan to Platanias in Greece, confirmed these rumors in an interview with the media outlet 90 minutes.
“I am aware of the transfer rumors,” Inkoom stated.
Despite the speculation surrounding his future, Inkoom remains focused on his current club and their objectives.
“However, I must admit that I don’t pay too much attention to it,” he added. “It’s flattering to hear about the interest shown by other clubs, but for now, the most important thing is to continue playing well with Platanias and see what happens in the off-season.”
In addition to Olympique Lyonnais, Inkoom is reportedly being courted by West Ham and Werder Bremen. With his contract at Platanias set to expire at the end of the year, the Ghanaian international finds himself in a situation of uncertainty regarding his next move.
