**Samuel Eto’o Speaks Out on Boko Haram and Africa’s Role**
During an appearance on **RMC** this Tuesday, **Samuel Eto’o** addressed both sports and social issues, notably the ongoing **Boko Haram crisis** affecting Nigeria and northern Cameroon.
The **Antalyaspor striker**, known for his outspoken nature, emphasized his commitment to helping those impacted by the sect:
*”My fight against Boko Haram? I wanted to help my brothers who are suffering. Africa is part of me, I come from this continent. I always felt that I was African before being Cameroonian. It’s a shame that we don’t talk about it much in Europe… We in Africa like to help, so when there are problems, we are almost always there.”*
Eto’o recently launched the **Yellow WhistleBlower FC initiative** through his Foundation, aimed at raising funds for NGOs supporting refugees in **southeastern Nigeria, northern Cameroon, and southwestern Chad**.
