Samir Kermiche: Algerian winger joins JS El Biar on free transfer from RC Kouba

Algerian left winger Samir Kermiche has joined JS El Biar on a free transfer from RC Kouba, completing a move that keeps the 27-year-old in domestic football for the 2026-27 campaign.

Kermiche links up with the Ligue 1 side after a spell at RC Kouba, who he joined in 2024, also as a free agent. The transfer to JS El Biar is a permanent deal, finalised on 24 July 2026, as the club continues to reshape its attacking options ahead of the new season.

Primarily operating on the left flank in attack, Kermiche brings experience from across the Algerian game. Before his time at RC Kouba, he spent the 2023-24 season with NRB Teleghma, following earlier spells that included a stint at CA Batna.

Kermiche has featured in the Coupe d’Algerie, where his most recent campaign saw him start regularly and accumulate 270 minutes across three appearances, underlining his capacity to contribute consistently over 90 minutes. That run in the national cup offered a platform for him to showcase his work on the wing and maintain his place at senior level.

Born on 22 February 1999, Kermiche now enters what should be the prime years of his career as he steps into JS El Biar’s squad. His arrival adds depth in wide attacking areas as the club prepares for the demands of Ligue 1.

The move sees Kermiche become JS El Biar’s latest attacking recruit, joining from RC Kouba on a free transfer effective 24 July 2026.
