It’s great to hear that striker Samir Benmeziane has signed with Nîmes Olympique. The official announcement on the club’s website reveals that Benmeziane is joining from Uzès-Pont-du-Gard, where he has had a successful season in the National league.
The 25-year-old striker, of Moroccan origin, has been in impressive form, scoring 13 goals in 19 National matches this season. The club sees him as an ideal replacement for the departing Seydou Koné.
Benmeziane has previous experience with Arles-Avignon and Le Pontet in the CFA from 2009 to 2012. His goal-scoring record suggests that he could be a valuable addition to Nîmes Olympique’s attacking options. It will be interesting to see how he performs and contributes to the team in the upcoming season.
