Samba Diouf: ES Zarzis sign Senegal centre-back from ASC HLM on long-term deal

ES Zarzis have signed Senegalese centre-back Samba Diouf from ASC HLM, with the 22-year-old defender moving to the Tunisian club on a contract running until 30 June 2028.

Diouf, who was born in Fatick and stands at 1.90m, strengthens the back line of the Zarzis side after emerging as a regular starter in Senegals top flight. A right-footed central defender, he arrives on the back of a consistent campaign in Ligue 1 with ASC HLM.

Last season, Diouf featured 21 times in the Senegalese Ligue 1, playing 1,861 minutes. His run of appearances underlined his status as a key figure for ASC HLM before securing his move to Tunisia.

The transfer marks Dioufs first move outside Senegal. He previously progressed from Guelwaars youth ranks to their senior team in 2021, before joining ASC HLM in 2024. His market value at the time of the switch to ES Zarzis is listed at 100,000.

Diouf officially joined ES Zarzis on 8 July 2026 and is under contract with the Tunisian club until the summer of 2028.
