Samaleswari SC make approach for Real Kashmir midfielder Kamal Issah
Ghanaian midfielder Kamal Issah, currently with Real Kashmir, has been linked with a move to Indian Football League club Samaleswari SC.
Issah, 34, plays as a defensive midfielder and has been with Real Kashmir since joining the club in October 2023. The potential move would be a domestic transfer, with both clubs competing in the Indian Football League.
No transfer fee or agreement has been reported, and the rumour does not indicate that negotiations have reached an advanced stage. Issah’s current market value is listed at €125,000.
The midfielder has made 46 Indian Football League appearances, scoring three goals and providing five assists. His experience also includes spells in Turkey, Norway, Denmark and France, having previously played for clubs including Ostersund, Istanbulspor, Eskisehirspor, Genclerbirligi, Stabaek, Nordsjaelland and Rennes.
Issah joined Real Kashmir as a free agent in October 2023 after leaving club football without a team. He had previously spent time with Ostersund before returning to the market in 2022.
The reported interest from Samaleswari comes with Issah still registered as a Real Kashmir player, while his contract situation has not been publicly specified.
