Salifou Soumah returns to Malmo FF after Polish loan flop

Malmo FF wing-back Salifou Soumah is set to return from his loan at Polish club Radomiak Radom, with reports confirming the 22-year-old will rejoin the Swedish champions.

Soumah, who joined Malmo from Zira FC last summer on a deal running until 2029, failed to convince in Poland and is now back at the club.

Radomiak Radom had a mandatory purchase option, but it came with conditions that Soumah did not meet. The option is valued at over €800,000, and since the Guinea international only scored one goal in 12 league appearances as a substitute, the club will not trigger the buy clause.

Soumah made 12 competitive appearances for Malmo FF, starting just three, and was sent on loan in February to gain playing time.

Radomiak finished 10th in the Polish top flight this season. His return gives Malmo a chance to reassess the winger, who has four Guinea national team caps and could be loaned out again or given a fresh opportunity to prove himself in Allsvenskan.
