Salehe Karabaka: Zanzibar winger linked with Pamba Jiji FC move from JKT Tanzania FC

Zanzibar-born winger Salehe Karabaka is being linked with a move from JKT Tanzania FC to fellow Tanzanian side Pamba Jiji FC as the regional transfer market continues to take shape.

The 25-year-old left-footer, who operates primarily as a left winger, has emerged as a potential attacking target for Pamba Jiji, with discussions centred on strengthening their wide options ahead of the new campaign. The interest comes less than a year after Karabaka joined JKT Tanzania, having signed for the club on 3 September 2025.

Karabaka, born in Zanzibar on 19 August 2000 and eligible for both Zanzibar and Tanzania, has been deployed in an attacking role from the left side since arriving at JKT Tanzania Football Club. His profile as a natural left-sided forward makes him a relatively scarce option in the domestic market, adding intrigue to Pamba Jiji’s interest.

The winger’s current contract situation has not been made public, adding uncertainty over what kind of deal would be required to prise him away from JKT Tanzania. Any move to Pamba Jiji would keep him within Tanzanian football, maintaining continuity in his career while representing a notable intra-league switch.
