Salah Eddine Bouziani: Algeria midfielder joins USM Alger from Paradou AC

Algerian midfielder Salah Eddine Bouziani has joined USM Alger from Paradou AC, completing a move that keeps one of Ligue 1’s most-used young central midfielders in the division. The 20-year-old, born in Bechar, switches clubs within Algeria’s top flight after establishing himself as a regular for Paradou’s first team.

Bouziani, a central midfielder by trade, arrives at USM Alger following a breakthrough spell in senior football. Last season he made 32 league appearances, contributing one assist and featuring for 1,790 minutes in Ligue 1, underlining his status as a consistent option in the middle of the pitch. He also featured in the Algerian Cup, adding further top-level experience despite his age.

The move marks the latest step in a rapid rise for Bouziani, who only graduated to Paradou AC’s senior side in 2024 after progressing from their U21 ranks. Within two seasons he had become a mainstay in the first team, prompting interest from one of the country’s most prominent clubs. His current market value stands at around €400,000, reflecting his growing standing in domestic football.

Bouziani officially joined USM Alger on 13 July 2026 and now links up with his new teammates ahead of the upcoming campaign, adding depth and energy to the club’s central midfield options.
