Salah Aziz Binous: Swiss-Tunisian striker joins Panakrotiriakos on free transfer

Swiss-Tunisian forward Salah Aziz Binous has joined Greek side Panakrotiriakos on a free transfer from Italian club Caratese. The 25-year-old centre-forward has signed a deal running until 30 June 2027 with the club.

Binous leaves Caratese after less than a year, having arrived there in August 2025, also on a free transfer. His move to Greece marks the latest step in a career that has taken him from Swiss football into the Italian lower divisions and now into a new league.

Standing at 1.92m and preferring his left foot, Binous offers Panakrotiriakos a physically imposing option in attack. Across his senior career he has gained experience in a range of competitions, including the Swiss Super League and Challenge League, Italy’s Serie D and various cup competitions.

Binous came through the youth system at Team Ticino before turning professional with Lugano and earning a move to Luzern, where he featured in the top flight and domestic cup. A loan spell at Kriens in the Swiss Challenge League preceded a series of switches that eventually took him to Italy, with spells at AVC Vogherese, SPAL, Chieri, Sant’Angelo and most recently Caratese.

He has recorded double figures for goals in youth elite competition and contributed across several senior campaigns, including appearances and goals in the Swiss Super League, Swiss Cup and Serie D. His current market valuation stands at around €50,000.

Binous’s transfer to Panakrotiriakos, completed on 17 July 2026, is a permanent free transfer from Caratese.
