The Saint-Étienne Twitter account shared, “Pascal Feindouno trained with the Excellence group while waiting to find a new club, as Julien Sablé had already done.” The ASSE Excellence group comprises the club’s top young talents.
Feindouno, at 32 years old, is using this opportunity to stay in shape as he seeks a new club. The former Stephanois is open to the possibility of returning to Forez, stating, “I am in good shape. I was hampered by phlebitis during the summer. Since then, I have been able to play again, I feel great. Besides, I finished perfectly before Christmas. I am ready.” Expressing his gratitude for the chance to train with ASSE, he added, “Saint-Étienne, this is my house. My three daughters were born here. I still have my house in Saint-Just-Saint-Rambert.”
Regarding the prospect of rejoining ASSE if given the opportunity, the attacking midfielder expressed enthusiasm, saying, “I would love to be able to wear the green jersey but hey… We’ll see. I’m 32, I’m free, and I still want to play. I’m waiting for someone to offer me something nice.”
