Saikou Secka: Gambia striker joins Al-Tai U21 on free transfer

The Gambia striker Saikou Secka has joined Al-Tai U21 from Al-Fayha U21 on a free transfer.

Secka, 19, plays as a centre-forward and switches clubs within Saudi Arabia after one season with Al-Fayha’s under-21 side. He joined Al-Fayha from Senegalese club Esp. Yeumbeul in September 2025, before making the move to Al-Tai.

The 1.88m forward has already featured in the Saudi Pro League, making one senior appearance and playing one minute. He has not scored or registered an assist in that competition.

Secka is listed as being comfortable using either foot, a detail that adds to his profile as he begins the next stage of his career with Al-Tai U21. His move keeps him in Saudi football after his period at Al-Fayha, where he spent the 2025-26 season following his arrival from Esp. Yeumbeul.

The transfer represents Secka’s third listed club since leaving Esp. Yeumbeul. His move to Al-Fayha was completed in September 2025, and he remained there until switching to Al-Tai the following year.

Al-Tai U21 will now be Secka’s club as he continues his development in Saudi Arabia. The forward’s age, position and previous senior exposure provide the main context to his arrival, while his experience at both Al-Fayha U21 and senior level gives him a background in the country’s football system.

Secka completed his move from Al-Fayha U21 to Al-Tai U21 on 20 September 2026.
