Algerian international and Olympique Lyonnais star, Said Benrahma, has thrown down the gauntlet to the French champions Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the eagerly anticipated French Cup final between the two teams.
“L’OL” will face “Les Parisiens” on May 25th in the final showdown at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Lille, following Lyon’s victory over Valenciennes and PSG’s triumph against Rennes in the semi-finals.
Speaking about the impending clash, the Algerian player stated, “The final? We are obliged to think about it. It’s a final match, and it could allow us to qualify directly for the Europa League competition.”
Benrahma, in remarks reported by the French website “foot01,” added, “The final will be played in the city of Lille, where we have beautiful memories… Anyway, we will prepare well for the match.”
