Safouane Benzahra signs first professional contract with AS Monaco

Safouane Benzahra has signed his first professional contract with AS Monaco, with the 18-year-old Morocco winger committing his future to the club until June 2029.

The left-sided attacker’s new deal marks another step in his development and reflects Monaco’s confidence in his potential. He will now look to continue his progress at the club while working towards involvement with the first-team squad.

Benzahra is a right-footed player who operates on the left of the attack. He is regarded as one of the promising young profiles within Monaco’s academy, and his move to professional status represents an important stage in his career before a possible regular place at senior level.

According to Transfermarkt, Benzahra is currently valued at 150,000 euros. His long-term contract gives him several seasons to develop his qualities and compete for a place within the Monaco set-up.
